TTdegs good new on the fan front (now you have no excuse not to add me ) . Thanks for the tips I had already tried tunring all the aids off still a second and a half behind the mini in the C class.

Although realised I don't need to finish first in everything to unlock the goodies just have to finiish in the top 3.

Just trying to get a GT round the track without coming off, although it's Fall of man tonight at 9 (in case anyone wants to join in).

The big 'PLAYSTATION3' logo is now the right way up (kinda a clue really!), and 20 mins of GT5 hasn't had the fans kicking in

Dragging this back on topic, Sony have released an update to Gran Turismo details in the link http://www.gran-turismo.com/en/gt5p/news/d2088.html

Hopefully they'll add the ability to race against friends soon.

Perhaps my brothers (very early 60 Gb) fan is shot because the Mrs said no way in the lounge because of the noise, but the 40Gb one no problems.

Sonicsteve, do you mean Metal Gear Online? You can count me out. Gave up on trying to download the updates & registering & deleted itfrom my PS3. I hope they sort that out before the full game comes out cos there's no way they can jusify charging people for that mess. Haven't had much chance to really go on the PS3 for a while, & when I've been on I've been trying to get Metal Gear Online running
How are you finding Time Crisis? Is it really simple & basic, I know the reviews I've seen haven't been too kind to. I think GTA4 will be my next game, go in on preorder for release day

I now have a PS3 in the living room too!

Only minor problem now is that I moved the 60Gb to be the family one, and picked up a cheap as chips 40Gb for my office

Which is all good - except that my profile is on the 60Gb one...
Any idea how I can copy TTDegs off the 60 and onto the 40 please?

You should be able to use the same profile on upto 5 PS3. Just set the same UserName and PW

Cheers Maldax

I sort of stumbled my way through it, but was a bit concerned that I ended up with a duplicate profile on both (360s don't like that!) - but your post has put my mind at rest, cheers

PS

(and apols in advance to Angie if she sees this!), but the BM M3 coupe is quite possibly the worst handling piece of rubbish it has ever been my displeasure to electronically guide around a collection of pixels!

The only way I could even get a bronze in the M3 only stage A race was to turn all the safety net aids back on, after having spent ages gradually bettering my times turning them off in the GTR.

Best time in the M3 with most aids off - 1:23.58 (bronze at 1:23 - argh!)
set back to nanny driving, first lap at 1:19

won't be playing that car / circuit combo again

You can also download the content to each of the five for use under your username so if you bought content on the store it can be on both PS3s, I have been thinking about getting a 2nd PS3, at the moment I just cart it upstairs when the missus wants to use the big TV.

Cool
not that I've dared put my card details in - I have zero willpower

Back on GT - anyone recommend the right Japanese 300+ bhp car to get for the 3 races in stage A please?
Great game, but when there is a limited entry race, the only way I've found so far is to write them all down, then go to the various dlrs and jot down the specs...
Which is ok, but a bit of a faff!
Could do with a shortcut from the race entry screen, direct to a list of cars / stats that are elligible and an option to say "I'll buy that one"

But I'm a lazy git, so I thought I'd just save myself the hassle and ask you lot which to buy

On the grounds that people ask the same question about which Civ to get

TT,

Try Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X '07.

Apparently it's better to have a 4WD as the Suzuka Circuit is twisty.

At the moment, I'm looking forward to GTA4 & Battlefield Bad Company.
This is why I'm not buying Battlefield Bad Company

What is the gameplay like on Guitar Hero, still contemplating it.
