CD Insert
Now I realise that, like myself, nobody on this forum makes CDs, even for their own personal use, but, if they did, where, hypothetically, could they get a template for the tray picture and sides?

You've lost me - 'tray picture and sides' ?
For my 'backup' CD's/DVD's I use CD Box labeler Pro for the jewel cases and Canon's own CD Label Print for it's built-in printable CD facility. Then a touch of CDCovers.cc for the artwork if necessary. |

NERO burning software comes with a cover designer. You tell it whether you're doing a cover for a thin cd case, normal cd case, dvd case, cassette tape case etc etc...

Get an Epson Inkjet with CD printing tray - you can then print directly onto printable CDs/DVDs
Cdcovers.cc / World's Largest CD Covers and DVD Covers Album Art Archive for disc images and covers.... |

I personally have steered clear of Epson's for quite a while now.
They are nearly always beaten by Canon in the mag reviews and when you replace the ink tank you are also replacing the print head. I have read countless pleas for help when an Epson print head has failed and it's cheaper to but a new printer than get it repaired. I recommend the Canon IP series that also has direct CD/DVD printing. Far better than trying to use stickly labels |
