Yep have as many Anne McCaffrey and David Eddings, but not as many TP - have 8 and read some from our local library.
But forgot Danielle Steele (12), C S Lewis (7 Narnia books), loads of wishy washy love stories, Richard Branson's autobiography, Star Trek books (used to have about 40 but now only about 6), and loads of Craft books - not really a good read but essential when learning and for reference - I make (made rather) Bobbin Lace. Can anyone recommend a good book on photography? Last month I bought a Nikon D40X SLR |

Great camera for a beginner to SLRs. I did so much price researching, and in the end I got a twin lens kit for £500 from Currys - they price matched the Dixons web site ( as is same group). If you know of any books on SLRs would be great.

I can't seem to read one book at a time then move onto another, so here are the current books I have on the go at any one time but in no particualr order. some are loosely work-related, a couple for self-improvement and one just for "fun":
1. Anyone Can Do It: My Story - Duncan Bannatyne 2. Freakonomics - Steven D. Levitt & Stephen J. Dubner 3. A Licence to Steal: The Untold Story of Michael Milken - Benjamin J. Stein 4. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People - Stephen R. Covey Weekly magazines: 1. Fortune 2. forbes 3. Money Week |

Just finishing "THE GRAND PRIX SABOTEURS" nothing to do with maclaren or ferrari the story of the pre war GP racers who joined the french resistance in WW2 quite amazing how they survived and how brave they really were .
been waiting over a year for one book to come out apparently there are still legal issues around it . The Last British Hero: The Mysterious Death of Grand Prix Legend Richard Seaman Richard Seaman was an enigma. One of Europe's leading Grand Prix drivers in the 1930s, he was a patriotic Englishman who became the only non-German driver in the Mercedes racing team, which was the pride of Hitler's Germany. A cocky, flamboyant daredevil, Seaman was initially admired by Hitler and seen as a useful propaganda tool. But, as war loomed ever closer, Seaman came to be seen as a threat. With suspicions mounting, an off-the-cuff joke about getting rid of Hitler almost certainly sealed his fate. Sixty-six years after the British Government declared his death following a horrific crash at the 1939 Belgian Grand Prix 'a tragic accident', "The Last British Hero" reveals that it was anything but. Seaman had become entangled in a perilous web through his connections with the British Secret Service, his involvement with the wild, drug-fuelled 1930s racing crowd, the upset that his marriage to the daughter of the co-founder of BMW caused to a Nazi officer, and his mother's affair with Hitler's foreign minister. Such is the level of cover-up surrounding his death that a group of German industrialists recently prevented the recovery of Seaman's wrecked Mercedes car, believed to be buried close to his former family home in Worcestershire. Sounds fascinating to me ! |

After finishing the History of Cryptography a while ago I've rested with some Agatha Christie. Read monthly a couple of car magazines and Scientific American.
