MMI Avocet?

The Avocet will be powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder twin-cam Ford engine (and not Triumph motorcycle engine like the Strathcarron), mounted transversely to drive the rear wheels through an end-on five-speed gearbox. The first models will have a maximum power of 150 hp, but Miles will soon offer a faster-revving 225bhp normally aspirated version. This will make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in just 5 seconds and will hit a top speed of 150 mph. Prices will be below £30,000.

I will accept that answer.
It is a Saab Sonett V4 which is the development of the 2.
But very similar, probably not possible to tell the differance from that photo.
The buldge on the hood is the main differance, it was needed to fit the Ford V4.
