It's a pic of a CTR honest...

Ok, so it's not a Civic, but I felt the need to share these with you, and I'm sure you'll appreciate it!

Some 46 Ferraris arrived in Northern Ireland as a group of Dutch drivers from the Ferrari Club of the Netherlands raised funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

I took these pics yesterday as they visited Stormont Castle (home of the NI Assembly) and Kirkistown race track.

Some 46 Ferraris in cavalcade arrived in Northern Ireland as a group of Dutch drivers raised funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Ferrari Club of the Netherlands visited Northern Ireland as part of the charity fundraising efforts, involving hundreds of children participating in events organised by the club.

I took these pics yesterday as they visited Stormont and Kirkistown race track.

A couple of my favourite shots from Stormont Castle in Belfast:

The one day I'm not down the Ards Peninsula and it's flooded with Ferraris.. Typical!

I'm one of a few people who really don't like Ferrari's..... don't know why they just don't do it for me (I also dislike the way they've been adding more computers to give crap drivers more supposed ability). Anyone else here a fan of 'basic' drivers cars??? Rather than these steroid enhanced playthings? I can see the aestetci beauty, but the hassle and cost of owning one is very off-putting (tbh, I'd want a security guard included with the package to watch ti all the time).

The old ones in the pictures are the nicest, at least they were proper cars back then.

And they were raising money for a good cause, so good luck to them.

I would normally like the old skool stuff, but I have to say that the new cars are actually more stunning in the flesh. Yes they may have computers etc, but we live in an age now which is dominated by the things. It is more the quality and finish on the new cars that is just amazing, and also the drama of the shapes. I think I have been converted from a Porschephile!

My mum looked at one (she likes them, but says they're impracticle), and I have to say I wasn't that impressed, but maybe thats just me (they look lovely, but I just tihnk all this technology removes you from the 'experience'), I'm just not an Italian car man (tbh, I don't think I like any Italian cars, barring the Diablo of course).

Better get a 2WD one, you don't want the 4WD making you look like a better driver!!

If your a proper driver you shouldn't need all the added stuff (afterall, lemans went fine before all the electronic gadgety was introduced, people like Stirling Moss never had ABS or 4WD, and they still did great), I'm not saying I'm against technoology (afterall my cars packed with it), just that I would prefer a 'drivers' car rather than a drivers car. Things like VSA that tell me when it needs to do it, or auto gearboxes that decide when to change, I have driven cars without all of this and far preferred the experience of DIY-ing .

Perhaps on a second car that you own for a laugh and a quick spin on a summer's day, but in your main car that you drive day in day out in the pouring rain, I'll stick with the electronic aids thank you.

Yeah but those who own a Ferrari Always have a second car (usually one for while the Ferrari's in the shop, which is 99.9% of the year).
