The Story of Gordon Brown........

Gordon Brown died because they couldnt treat him in time at an nhs under funded hospital....He goes up to heaven and peter meets him at the gates.

"Hello Mr Brown you will have to go to hell for a day then come back here and spend a day, you then have to choose which you want"

He gets shown a lift and goes to hell...

On arrival he sees all his old political cronies. Harold Wilson, Callaghan, Edward heath...All ex Labour politicals. They are playing croquet and eating caviar, drinking chilled champagne and have loads of very attractive women drooling all over them... In the evening there is a masssive party with all the food and drink you can imagine with entertainment from some of the best long dead stars...the devil is there and says Hi to Gordon and tells him to just take what he wants....
After this 24 hour visit he goes back to heaven for the day...

Every where he looks he sees average people without a bad word to say, families having picnics before going back to their average home. All in all plenty of everything but not too much, and very dull compared to his previous day in hell....

"Ok Peter thanks for the insight but I am off back to hell,thanks for the offer"

Peter looks at gordon and asks if he is sure as there is no turning back once the choice is made, Gordon has made his choice and grabs the lift back to hell.

On his arrival all the people are struggling to get food from a barren wasted land. There is nothing but poor conditions and a terrible day to day struggle. Everyone is trying to out do each other for what they can get and think nothing of leaving anyone with nothing....

Gordon is gob smacked and goes over to the devil and asks what happened to all the stuff from the previous day.....

"Oh that" says the devil "Well that was yesterday and we were just doing the usual canvassing"
The devil gives him a wink and says................................

"Thank you so much for your vote Gordon mate"..........
