I did a google image search on bad parking, and thought this one was a great example!
Now if only I had the guts to do what the guy in the middle space did... And this -> Universal Institute for the Eradication of Assclownery is a fantastic idea! Last edited by TTDegs : 8th May 2008 at 18:41. |

There is a woman where I work that parks her Discovery as badly as the woman in the Celica. That is why I stay right over the other side of the car park, well out of trouble.

Perfect story for this thread. Last september when i got married someone had blocked one of our guests in the car park and she couldn't get out. Hotel receptionist said the car didn't belong to anyone in the hotel so there was nothing they could do. Thats one thing you should never say to my family on my inlaws. Two seconds later 20 blokes (including me) all slightly drunk go the car park to see whats up.
One guys suggested to "roll it, daft sod won't do it again". In the end we take in turns to move the front and the back of the car by bouncing it out of the way. Hotel receptionist stood there and laughed and videoed it on his phone. When all was done we cheered like grown drunk men do, thumped our chests and we all got free drinks for the rest of the night off the hotel. A good night was had by all after that. |

Where I used to work they had a delivery yard out the back for artic-lorries... this was accessable by a narrow path between 2 buildings... about the width of 2 cars. Someone had parked a large van there... and an artic couldn't get out. We asked around all the local businesses 1st - then had to move it. The warehouse manager tied it to a forklift and just pulled it - inch by inch! God know's what that must have driven like afterwards...! Turned out it was someone in a building we had asked... he had rented it out... idiot... lol |

On the subject of parking I have a pic that I have to up load from my phone of some woman who just abandoned her car in front of mines whilst in Edinburgh a few weeks back....but the guy from chips away who came to fix my Mum's car because some bloke at her work had managed to scrape all along the back of it when there was 8 feet between the cars
commended my Dad on buying my Mum such a large stable car.He said that he gets calls from lots of guys with big cars who have bought the Mrs a wee 'dinky' car and then when they have to drive Hubbys 'proper' car they have no sense of size and end up damaging it and other things in the process. He then commented on how he had watched me reverse round a tight bend into a space without a second thought and was rather impressed, then I told him my secret was I had to reverse the car up the drive whilst not hitting next doors car, the hedge, one of my parents cars and the caravan. Basically I get a space just big enough to get the car through without damaging it. They should make everyone park like this I think! I know people who wouldn't take their driving test in a certain test center because they were guaranteed that they were going to get a reverse park! Now these are people who still cannot reverse or park to save themselves....funnnily enough they are also the ones that can only drive in trainers too! |
