I think you mean some women with this comment. Think some guys on here do forget that although there are little of us, there are a few women on here!

If I couldn't park either parallel, reverse etc then there would be no danger I would choose to drive a Civic! I refuse at point blank to have parking sensors on a car as there really should be no need for them, if you don't know how big your car is, where the bonnet ends and how far your backend sitcks out then your screwed and if you can't use mirrors then your even more screwed!

I wouldn't have Rage alloy wheels on my car if I couldn't park as they are extremely expensive to repair if they are damaged as I was advised by my male mate who knackered his wheels! He was told that they have to be sent away and take about 2 weeks and it costs more than buying a brand new alloy from Honda. But then I always go for good looking alloys because I know i'm going to keep them looking that way, unlike some men I know from this site

Well I thought he was talking about looking at his big tow sideways, like the angle when you put your toe in your mouth (guess I'm going to be a very rare weirdo who can do that?)

I've never worried about the size of anything, as apparently size isn't important (or so I've been informed), I'll try telling my GF that if I buy her a diamond, we'll see then if size matters

No, but biting toenails is not a good habit, and they taste horrible

There will be times when knowing the length of your car and using mirrors is of no use when reverse parking, for example if there is a low bollard or wall sticking out or if a small child were to step out behind of you.

Well I would hope that A who ever is driving has had a look at where they are going to reverse so bollards no matter how low or high or wall sticking out should not be an issue. With or without parking sensors small children (whome should be accompanied) stepping out into the path of a reversing car may do so about a foot or less from the car and either way parking sensors wouldn't do any good.

Apart from the fact that parking sensors can fail, they also have a steady beep for about 2 or 3 feet and people know this so say a child went behind a reversing car the driver does not see them (as they've not seen them in their wing mirrors) and its already on the steady beep and they know how far they have to go that child could be caught in between another car or the car and a wall.

People have managed for years without them and it says something when parking sensors increase peoples insurance premiums. There will be a time when all cars come with parking sensors as standard but I know people who have had cars with parking sensors and then moved to a Civic without them and struggle to park as they became so reliant on them

Me thinks the lady doth protest too much...is there something you want to tell us about?

Anyway:

A plane is flying along,
the captain announces that there is total engine failure and they're going to crash,
a young blonde lady stands up, rips off her blouse and says "Will someone make a woman out of me!",
a guy stands up, whips his trousers off and says "Here, Iron these!"

Well, they both involve a bit of bump and grind, but you know that already

Lets see...

If my good lady pilots my chariot and it arrives unscathed, I do breath a palpable sigh of relief and it could be tinged with mild stimulation.
Score: 1 point

If she comes through the front door and says "John, can you have a look at this?", this fills me with dread and leaves me totally flacid. I would not be able to work up enough enthusiasm to conjugate that night.
Score: -2 points

If she calls from the bedroom "John, can you have a look at this?", this fills me with a sense of anticipation - let the manouvreing begin, I need to park this thing!
Score: 3 points

Ergo, shagging wins the day!

Quite frankly, 'someone' ought to lighten up and not take it too seriously, it is a bit of leg pulling and none of it is said with venom, or meant to be offensive.

'Someone' has had a sense of humour bypass, as it says on the forum page 'Be warned - might not be for the faint hearted!'

If you cannot take the heat, get out the kitchen

There is a difference between having a laugh an talking complete rubbish your post with point scoring was neither funny or relevant.

I have a sense of humour but it is not down in the gutter. I am starting to give up reading threads on this forum as they all seem to go the same way these days still I guess there will always be some people who dont mind complete strangers getting off on their crude comments.
