Non-sports model
As I am not sporty (except in my diesel Civic of course) PLEASE could someone out there answer this quiz question (set for half-term test) for me and save me a lot of hassle.
PS- This is a "proper" question not the start of a new joke line. Q." Who, at the age of 20, became the youngest ever cricketer to complete the double of 1000 runs and 100 wickets in test cricket?" Thank you. |

Not that all info on the internet is correct.:
http://www.tiscali.co.uk/reference/e.../m0037395.html Gives the name as Dev Kapil: Dev, Kapil Indian cricketer who was one of the world's outstanding all-rounders. At the age of 20 he became the youngest player to complete the ‘double’ of 1,000 runs and 100 wickets in Test cricket. In 1992 he followed Richard Hadlee as the second bowler to reach 400 wickets, and by the end of his career had taken a record 434 Test wickets. In September 1999 he was appointed his country's national coach, but was forced to resign a year later after alleged involvement in a match-fixing scandal. |

Is it a half term test that you have set your pupils or is it one set for the teachers by the Government to ensure you're meeting standards?
Personally, I would go with Pottsy's answer - all the facts are there. I did try googling for you yesterday but didn't find an answer. There again, I can't (under)stand cricket. |

A new idea. The pupils set the staff a test. All results go to DFEE. Those that fail end up as MP's so trying VERY hard to get all the questions correct.
