Divx Xvid Avi MP4 etc DVD Player?

Does anyone know of a good type of DVD player that plays lots of different formats for around £50? I've found one here.....

Mini MPEG-4 DVD Player > Maplin

I'm sick of squeezing a small amount of video at high quality in DVD format when I got gets many more titles on a disc thats in Xvid or AVI for example.
