Very sad news. There's never a good time for this kind of thing but somehow it seems even worse at this time of year. I'm very very sorry for all concerned.

Thats terrible news, you must be very shocked.

I feel for you and the families/friends of all those involved, may they find the strength to help them through this emotional time.

Came in to work today, 4 staff, 1 contractor and 2 crew. Our CEO did a press conference this morning, turns out that there were staff waiting to be picked up when they saw the chopper dive to the left and crash into the sea. There is always a boat on standby in the water when the choppers are flying but I guess that was too late to help them.

My team here where I work in Operations, speak to all the gas fields very regularly, so far we've not had the heart to call them today, just don't know what to say

What a terrible tragic loss. My thoughts are with their families and friends, what an awful time of the year to lose a loved one, just after Christmas, just before New Year.

Quite appalling news. And it's happened before of course. We, the constant beneficiaries, take these vital but dangerous jobs so much for granted, don't we?
