I thought these kinds of accidents always resulted in the car dangling half-way over the massive drop. Or maybe I've just been watching too much bad TV.

Incredibly lucky, yes. Then again American pick up trucks aren't the best handling in the world. If they'd have been smart they would have been driving a Civic and avoided the crash altogether.

It's amazing how close to the edge the rescue services are standing as well! I wonder what his 'stars' said for the day. 'You will be lucky today and meet some new people'.

Because of the position of the rescue services it's actually being looked at as a possible fake, probably photo 3 ?

Would you stand there without the truck and yourself being tethered somewhere ?
