I was watching "Watchdog" tonight and at the end they said that on next week's programme they will be covering a problem with an on going problem with a car whereby the manufacturer says it is has been fixed (or the words to the effect)!
Be interesting to see what car etc |

Well if it is Honda -in one respect it is a shame it has come to this for them, however at the same time you need to think of the 2006 owners.
In my opinion (from what I have read on here) there has been a big improvement over the build of the '07 models Something else to consider - is how many customers have actually been affected by problems (how many members does Civinfo have?) consider the fact that a lot of member and non member civic owners don't have any problems -as far as we are aware How may 2006/7 civics has honda built and sold How many have had problems How many have not had problems |

If it is an ongoing problem then I suspect it may be the Volvo debacle of late.
Some of their slightly older cars have developed a fault where the fuel computer cuts out and you suddenly lose power. Volvo reckoned that it was not a safety issue so refused to perform a recall ! In the USA they insisted on a recall but over here VOSA didn't seem concerned. |
