I was thinking of a new tower but have now decided to hang on until next January when the new Vista operating system is released....well, supposed to be January.

This will run Vista with the upgrade to the x600 card.

Well you guys looking out of your windows at the vista before you can wave at me galloping past on top of my tiger.

Actually, I happen to think Vista has the potential to be a very good operating system. I am an IT systems administrator and advisor by day so spend my life bogged up in Microsoft hell, but for personal use I will only ever own a Mac from now on. They are just nicer and well...they work!

I think Vista addresses a lot of issues that XP doesnt and they have obviously taken a long look at Apple OS X and nicked all the good bits from it and on the surface it looks like it is going to be a major leap forward for PC based systems, but I am very concerned about over zealous digital rights management and big brother restrictions. For office and business use, I can't wait. For everything else....do yourselves a favour and get a mac!

PS - this is just an opinion and I don't work for Apple or anything!
