Is this how the SatNav works on the Civic?....

Hi! I have the ES model myself. Don't think the EX is available yet in Ireland for some reason(?!). But I found this link on the web and I was wondering how it compares to the SatNav on the Civic. Maybe you could take a look and see if it's similar or not....might help me make up my mind when it's time to upgrade.....

Its not quite as good as that system. I had John Cleese as the voice on my old TomTom system, that was good, but not enough humour, I think all satnavs should have a sense of humour, so on the second or third time of asking you to make a u turn it should shout or swear, that would be great.

I'm not sure if this is true.

Well the first bit which is true; the newest/best/most expensive TomTom has text to voice; so it can tell you the name of the road to turn on to and so forth.

But apparently it has an "emotion" option which means for one it gets angry if you keep disobeying it!
