Dreaded 'Bleep' Test!!!

Hi everyone,

I've got my Physical Fitness test for Nottinghamshire Police next week, which includes a 'Bleep' Test!

Anyone got any pointers for getting the best results from these?? Apparently, I've got to reach a minimum of level 8.....

Out of the whole thing, this is the only bit I'm worried about.....

Level 8 is not much quicker than walking pace. Anyone in a reasonable condition should be able to do it comfortably. (IMHO anyway)

I'm in the RAF and we have to get to level 9.3 this year....it gets harder each year so just think when your runing it could be worse.....

you could start practising making a 'bleep' noise yourself and hope to confuse the examiner?

Cheers TT, I'll keep you posted.....

Did an hour's Squash with my Brother-In-Law yesterday, and popped in the gym before we left the centre to have a bash on the treadmill at the bleep test, and I managed to get to Level 6 before I started to feel it too badly, so if that's what I can acheive after playing Squash for an hour, then I'm quietly confident about reaching Level 8 on the day.....
