Emergency Landing
Paddy, the Captain of an Aer Lingus Boeing 747 and his able assistant Mick were preparing for an Emergency landing.
Paddy gives the orders as the passengers are screaming in the back. Paddy: "Reverse engines on" Mick: "Check" Paddy: "Flaps down" Mick: "Check" Paddy: "Hit the brakes." Mick: "Check." The plane comes to an almost immediate halt. Paddy: (Wiping his brow) "Jesus, that has to be the shortest run way ever.." Mick: "Yeah, but would you look at the width of it." |
