Astra vxr is a good looking car, better performance figures than the civc, nicely equiped, why wouldn't you want one if you are after a hot hatch. For the money I prefered the type R though, but there is no right or wrong. I just prefer normally aspirated hot hatches and the type R looks so good inside and out!

They are not that bad a car but they haven't aged well inside or outside.

Nope.
Having previously owned an Astra VXR I feel I have a valid opinion It was quick no doubt about that, but understeered everywhere. Maybe with some chassis mods it could cope with its power. But you'd be looking at coilovers and LSD at a minimum i would say. So not cheap. |
