I noticed that pretty much all the time, the lady requests the bird say something and then there is a cut away shot of the bird doing what is asked of it. This could mean some major editing to get the apparently slick question-and-answer sequence we are shown.

Or perhaps it is just as we saw it and I am a bit of an old cynic...
