Manual or automatic ???

Rite... Been thinking / looking for a new car for a while (my gf want the CTR) and since I dont have any finance on the CTR I'm not really losing any money (I think)

So anyway.... I've always own manual car, driven different types of auto and don't think I can live with it, but unfortunately all the cars I've been looking at are all auto.... No manual option.... Now, do I sacrifice of owning a manual to have the car I want or Continued looking for a manual.... I'm trying to convince myself to go for the auto coz the CTR will still be mine so I can still drive it.... But at the same time, I don't know how and if I can live with a auto as a daily drive

Depends entriely on what automatic it is whether its a dsg etc!

If its a performance car or german then yes go for an auto smooth amazing and lose no power on some you even gain on the 0-60!

DSG is a good example of how they should be! Dont be put off as youll still have the CTR!

Defiantly not DSG (DSG is the VW range rite) I have driven some auto cars and quiet like it but really don't think I can have it as an everyday car (I live n work in London and lots of stop n start so a lot of people would think an auto make a gd car, but that's just lazy to me)

I guess it's all down to getting use to it..... Since I pass I had a manual so I'm so use to a manual...... Maybe I should try driving my dad auto for a week or so..... But even that I don't even want to

I live in Reading and traffic is almost on par with most of london (not battersea bridger though) and tbh i would prefer an auto but the only ones i want dsg etc are way out of my price range and economy on older autos are horrendous and didnt fancy an i shift at all i love manual cars but for commuting does my head in!

What car you after?

So far 90% of the people that I spoken to about this has said the same thing.... I agree the gtr is an amazing car i dont disagree with Wat anyone say about how good it is.... But what's wrong with the other cars...if ** comparing it to the gtr.... Then yes the gtr win, but each of the other cars have their own merits

I prefer an automatic in my daily driver and a manual in a "fun" car.
Having said that, a prerequisite is enough torque in the automatic car, a really underpowered automatic is a dreadful drive.

I have no idea how a GT-R would be to drive on a daily basis, but wouldn't mind finding out.

So .... A car I LOVE in a auto or a car I LIKE in a manual?
Let's just forget bout the GTR for now.... Or it will turn in to 'how much I love the gtr thread'

Autos and DSG are history.
CVT always was and always will be the best transmission you can get.
[if done right lol ]

Honda Fit CVT + rotrex ???
