Scary stuff....
Call me sad, but I thought I recognised the shape of the rear wheelarch as being like the MK1 Seat Toledo (i.e. based on a MKII Golf). Did a search on Google and some of the hits seem to confirm that the Chery Amulet is a rebodied Seat Toledo, pic below. 250px-SeatToledoGen1.jpg Maybe this could explain the poor crash performance, as we are talking about a car first about in 1991. Scariest other crash test film I've seen was for the Rover 100 - Euroncap.com, has loads of crash test videos, including the Civic Last edited by pjr; 14th August 2007 at 13:24. |
