I currently work as a television Soundman, working mostly on a live welsh language afternoon and evening magazine show. Dubbing, editing, mixing and being sound-recordist/boomswinger. So if you ever see someone waving a furry rat on a pole next to a Civic in Wales you know who it is...

I love my job and it just about keeps the tank full of diesel... who needs heating at home when you've got climate in the car.

Cheers

Elis

I was a customs officer for 34 years. When they merged cussies with inland revenue I took early retirement.
I got bored after 3 weeks and went to Sainsbury's for 7 days I wouldn't do that for double the wages.

Self employed Problem Manager in the IT industry.

(soon to be searching for another job which means I may have to be an IT Support Manager again )

Used to be an honourable Mech/Production Engineer working for the other motor manufacturer at Swindon (the one that made cars for Honda before Honda could....oops!)

What convoluted careers we follow!

I'm in charge of the Infrastructure of an Insurance company no-one will have heard of.

I'm in charge in the way I still get to play with tech and not do too much of the boring managers stuff
