Where do you work?

We have the Gallery, we have asked the age question how about we have a thread about what us Civic drivers do for a living?

It may even be that some of our paths have crossed through work in past employment !!

I have worked in quite a few firms of solicitors in the past, mainly on the conveyancing/probate side of things.

I was a manager at Travelex based in Heathrow Airport for a few years and now I am a Sales progressor for a firm of Estate Agents (no sly comments please )

I've had my own Restaurant here in the Algarve for 13 years now.....However, it's grown massively long in the tooth for me now, so back in November, I was invited to attend the Police National Assessment Centre in Coventry, as I've applied to become a copper for Notts Police.....

After calling up to find out whats going on, apparently I've passed the Assessment Centre, but they still have so many candidates to mark, they couldn't say wether I'll be invited to the next stage (Fitness Test).....I really hope they do, as I've wanted to be a copper for some time now, and am mega keen to move back to the UK....

Well as Geoff kindly pointed out (I suppose someone was going to) Estate Agents are not liked very much! I only work part time dealing with the sale after an offer has been accepted, but I take abuse quite a bit from people because of the stigma surrounding Estate Agents, solicitors are the worst for it apart from the local ones who have got to know me unlike Honda CS I always call people back and am always straight with them as I know how stressful buying a house can be.

A few years back I delivered leaflets to earn money purely because it was convenient for me so I don't think anyone should be judged by what they do for a living.

So Geoff quite your picking on me

I'm in the music business. Have my own record label/video production company based in chiswick (right next door to chiswick honda).

But I've also been and insurance clerk and a window cleaner for those that are worried about posting what they do now. We've all been there! And I had more fun washing windows than anything else (honest!)
