The true value of drink

Sometimes when I reflect on all the wine I drink I feel a sense of shame.

We are always being told that we drink to much and that it is bad for our long term health.

Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes and dreams.

If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered.

Then I say to myself, 'It is better to drink wine and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver!'

There is no truth that there is bad wine. It's just that some is better than others.

If you give up drinking, eat only brown bread and don't smoke, then you will live 3 months longer.

The trouble is that you get the extra three months at the end when you are in a wheelchair, incontinent and being spoon fed. Would you really want an extra 3 months of that!!

You're right, it's just selfish not to. I'll do my bit for those guys tonight.
