Never really did get round to taking a good look at the old CRX.
Your reckon this one will be a 2+2, even if its a tight fit ?, cos "Er Indoors" has told me that I have had enough ( which means NO ) 2 seaters over the years. |

Too soon to be saying what my next car will be, however, i would have another civic, BUT i definetly would not rule out the focus, and the new mondeo is such a beautiful car which warrants a look at.

I'm also thinking of a 750 ilH [Hydrogen] (or whatever it'll be called). I like the idea of a non commercially controlled power source (you should be able to make it at home, as with Hondas unit.). I also like the [Don't hate me for this], Audi R8, but I might rethink about those, not exactly insurance friendly are they?!

I just hope they keep it (CRX) light and reasonably small, so it is fun to drive. if they do and it is sensible money It could be my ideal car, efficient, cost effective and fun.

I'm not exactly figuring on changing at the moment but if I did, it would be back to an Alfa - 159 probably (had a 156 until my 2006 Civ).....
Yes it is stylish, but much more important to me is the fact that it combines good performance with a ride/handling package that is superb at the price. If only my Civic had such a suspension set-up - it would make me smile even more then! |

On a mass production line? Or is it stroked together gently by the hand of a nubile virgin? If you've never driven a decent ford then you haven't driven the new Focus (which purely from a drivers view point is much better than our Civic), or the Puma (Utterly brilliant), or the new mondeo (VERY good) etc... Have fun on the bus |

I'll probably go for something with a 0% finance deal: I'm currently paying interest for only the second time with my Civic. I know that cars on a 0% deal will have had their price inflated or are about to go out of production, but hey, that 0% APR at the bottom of the page sure makes you feel better.
I doubt I'll go for another Honda, and that'll be mostly through their apathetic customer service rather than the faults, countless dealer visits and naff suspension. I could be tempted if they offer me a good deal though, as I'm sure a 2009 Civic will be more solid than my 2006 example. The thing is, there's no car retailing under £20k on the roads at present that makes me think "ooh, I want one of those", apart from possibly the Civic Type-R and Audi A3. |

My partner had a little KA which she said was fab , however she then bought the Streetka (
The inside door handle snapped & the glovebox broke too ! Im forever taking Fords in after only a few months of ownership due to faults. Ive just had a 57 Focus in from a Motability cust because its leakes through all the seals . Like my dad says you get good Fords & bad Fords. Overall I still like Fords especially the Focus ST |

To be honest, anything with softer suspension and a proper autobox.
Maybe by 2010 Honda may have improved these areas sufficiently as I like the rest of the car. |

[quote=Brodick;121668]Fords are boring, they bang them together and get them on the roads in mass numbers I have never driven a decent ford, and they depreciate like a stone
I am sure i have read on this forum that maybe many owners have issues with there civics....Electrical problems,...Mechanical problems,.. Paint issues ..Trim and chassis issues.....Too long of a list to mention, I am also aware that a few owners on this forum have been shocked at the depreciation of the civic after 12 ~ 18 months of ownership, Some are even holding on to the civic because they cannot afford to change because of this loss. So i see where you are coming from now with your reply. ZZZZZZZZZZZZ |

If red Ken gets his way then I might have to go Hybrid as I drive across the mouth of Heathrow every day and that is one area he is trying to get into his Congestion Charge boundary.
I think he also has his sights on the M25 western section so I will have little choice. Civic Hybrid is therefore on the cards as well. |
