I FULLY agree with you. They are a menace.
It should be endorsable. I always put my lights on main beam if I see a lowlife with fog lights on coming the other way. Fcking idiots!!! Rant over too!!! |

One of the reasons I decided not to go for front fogs on my Civic was because I found they didn't help in foggy weather! I'm glad with my choice as not only did it save me a few ££ it saved me worrying about them getting smashed

whilst on about neccessary items on the car what is the point of auto lights and auto wipers! I can turn my lights on myself and if you forget to turn off the auto wipers- the next time the car is used, there will be grit on the screen and the wipers automatically scratching a dry screen!
As anyone compiled a list of must haves on their car such as folding mirrors, cruise control and maybe reversing aids, dependant on model ordered. 1.8 es i shift(demo model) blue ambient lighting .mudflaps.door sill embellishment. |

Anyone ever read "Roadcraft- The police driving hand-book" (Have been reading it in anticipation of an ambulance space opening up soon). In there it says [somewhere] about using your lights as and when it is necessary. I agree I hate the fools who have them going 24-7, but unfortuantely, you have to really p*ss the police off to get told off about them (i.e. answer them back and get full car check, for your safety of course, they then pick up on everything!). I must admit I thought fogs came under "Driving without due care", and were as such endorsable?????

glad I'm not the only moaning old fart on here.
but what a can of worms i seem to have opened....... I only brought it up as I've noticed a lot of people using them yesterday at work ,I'm a truck driver and it shames me to say but alot were also truckdrivers who really should know better. perhaps they have a deep hidden love of vauxhall corsa's, big exhausts and mcdonalds |
