The little web tool only gives straight line distance. You need wire down the road distance, so add 30 to 50% and then use the graph.

I have the misfortune to be with talktalk and have had problems since they hmmm "improved" the equipment at the exchange 11 months ago. Translated I think this means they replace good BT equipment with their own substandard stuff. BT investigating again - now told below ground fault and communications seem to have stalled again! If I finally lose patience any suggestions for replacement ISP at reasonable cost. It is only the cheap price which has kept me with them.

And i have an exchange only 2.63km from me

This is with bt up to 8meg

On Cable, not on ADSL, but who cares.
It should be 8000/1500, so it's reasonably good.
