Guys

Great news ! Honda have announced that they will be taking part in the Scrappage scheme recently announced at the budget.

I will post an update of how it works & the various offers when all becomes clear !!

Snag - I doubt anyone here qualifies ?

I know my i-shift needs scrapping but I'd want more than £2K for it

It's an odd one - you need a 10 year old car that's worth a load less that 2k. And you need to be in the market for a new car... Plenty in one group, plenty in the other, but how many in both?

I was wondering this very same thing the other day - I doubt many people that have a car over 10 years old are looking to buy brand new at this moment in time. But we shall see how it goes I suppose...

Well if you think of all the people with older Honda's ( & there is quite a few ) it just gives them that one more incentive to buy ! We have done four deals so far via the scheme.

One may well be over 10 years old, the other only a few years old.

Yes we have seen extra showroom volume due to the scheme. It has helped a lot especially with some of the other Honda offers
