Is it normal for there to be a loud whine when accelerating in any gear. It happens at about 3000 revs and gets louder all the way to 8000.
It also happens at any throttle position. Is this normal? |

i have this also on my type S, not sure if it is normal or not. i am interested in this answer too.
Hopefully it is normal and not too much to worry about. i havent noticed any MPG or performance decreases. Does yours sound like Air is being sucked in from somewhere? |

Hi, sounds like a wheel bearing! get it to your dealer quick as the bearing will over heat and explode, which will cause the car to grind to a stop.

Mine seems to sound like air being inhaled from somewhere and seems to increase in speed and pitch with the revs as they go up. doesnt happen all the time but it is quite annoying. |
