Storage - A slight Gripe ...

Hi,

We love our new EX. One thing though is that none of the storage compartments between the front seats are lined meaning anything in them rattles.

Has anybody found any aftermarket way to fit this?

thanks,
Ed.

Bit of felt and some double sided tape - I've only lined the big bin though not one next to the handbrake - didnt think that looked very good.

For this one I was going to get some black foam (I forget what its called), but its black and is basically interlaced foam (quite thin) - its very grippy so I was just going to lay it on the bottom and not stick it down - that way if I have a drink to put in there at any time I can take it out.
If i remember what its called - I'll let you know!

With my last 3 Honda's and now this one, I have lined the compartments ( well - my wife actually, as she is better at wrapping presents than me) with bubble wrap.
She has made the stuff into little boxes, which slide in.
But it works.

this is actually matress grip - but it looks like the stuff I was talking about - hopefully it may ring a (small and not very loud) bell....

I normally don't hear anything as the music is up load. Though the problem with that is the bass makes the doors vibrate and whatever loose change is in the pockets starts to rattle.

Get into Ikea and buy some kitchen drawer liner. It's plastic, but almost "sticky" to the touch. Just cut it to shape.
