Hmmmm, well when they replaced the shocks they should have checked the tracking too. I know that when I had my shocks and struts replaced all 5 times on my prev car as they had faults with them and it was pulling to the left, they checked the tracking every time.
It would be interesting to find how many others have this issue. Most will not noticed until they got to swap the tyres round. Could this be another fault in the making? |

If your Civic is on warranty which I assume it is, get an independent second opinion on the cause, and if necessary consult a lawyer. Such repairs can be extremely costly, it's probably a lot more than a misaligned suspension that's behind it |

When I first picked up my brand new 5-door 1.8 Sport (as they are called here in Sweden), I only managed to exit the dealership and go for about a 20m before I got the feeling something was wrong.
After enterging a motorway it became clear that it was pulling to the left. It wasn't much, but enough to be noticable and very annoying. When I called the dealer, they had me return to have the wheels aligned (tracking adjustment?) on warranty. I got a loaner, but a used Jazz isn't a new Civic is it.... After picking up my car (again), I found that it was still pulling to the left, all be it a little less then before. If I was disappointed the first time, I was now starting to get *bleeping* angry. The garage manager told me he had driven it and that he hadn't noticed anything wrong. After showing a mechanic the problem, and reviewing the adjustment report, they agreed to adjust it again. And again I got the Jazz... After the second adjustment, it was not pulling "noticeably" but it feels numb around the center/midpoint. I fear that they have tried to compensate for the pulling by customizing the wheel angles. When accelerating in the wet, or particularly on snow, it fells like the front tyres are in a tug of war on what direction to go. I'm monitoring the tyre tread wear, but beeing winter and as I've only driven about 4000 km since I got it, it's to earley to tell. PS. Love the Civinfo site. I've been meaning to do a "whining" post on some of the other issues, but I haven't come around to it yet. DS PS2 Apologies in advance on any spelling errors DS2 |

If i were you i would bite the bullet and take the car to ABP motorsport in cheshire they are a member of this site. they can set up the tracking and adjust camber using bolts etc to allow for the wide manufacturer spec they will cure your problem without difficulty i am sure and the price will be approx £135 all in which compared to dealer ****ups and lack of interest is well worth it. they are after all civic specialists. good luck though
