Other poor fitting rubber mats

just fitted the new 08 carpet mats into the type r but the bracket for the rubber mats no longer fits as the pins for the carpet mats are in both corners and the holes in the rubber mats are approx 6 inchs apart. any ideas.

Take them back and get the 07 model mats. They (Honda) have changed the design slightly

Apparently, it related to some safety improvements and therefore the mats has had to be changed.
