When Problems.....

When Problems Are A joy.

This is the new billboard advertising from Honda that tells us all

"When problems are a joy - Honda" I guess that this forum should be the most joyous place about then!

I'm saying nothing.....

See here for an example and here for details.

I just don't understand where this 'teaser' campaign is going. It doesn't matter how clever the unveiled result is, the strap-line is just asking for trouble - whatever the company in questions made, or whoever they were.

autoexpress review of used civic

Reading yesterdays article on used civic,it did'nt come any surprise what was said reference to build quality issues, remember it is manufactured in uk!I sometimes wonder what the young japanese designers of the car must think - would they have prefered it made in japan.Coming back to auto express ,they where gloating about the car when it first came out when comparing it to the likes of ford etc:but a different matter in reality.! think huk have used its customers as their research and development especially with the i shift transmission( better now with improved software),but should have been right in the first place- as shold all the other issues such as petrol caps, door handles, handbrakes and now we may have problems with the windscreen cracking to look forward to?

Apparently the glass is thinner than normal, leading to cracking/splintering over time. Alledgedly being the word.

Having worked for and sold the products of several european manufacturers, rest assured, HUK are ok for the time being with regards to build quality.

I heard an ad on the radio this week that used the same line. The bulk of the ad that led to the tagline basically meant that Honda sees a problem as a challenge and something to savour, not to get worried about. Hmmm...from what I've been reading here, their lives should be full of joy.

I am quoting the autoexpress, because the screen is part of the cars structure - evidently if the car is given to much 'welly',then cracks may appear!

as would pretty much any car if it was roughed up enough. depends on the terrain driven on and just how hard you hit speed bumps, potholes etc. Just where do these guys test these Auto Express cars???

Bit vague is`nt it bit like saying if you throw enough stones "cracks may appear" so I`m not losing sleep over this one
