ctdi 2.2 faults sorted

My 06 2.2 went to the dealer today for 1) flat battery 2) fuel filler cap 3) front nearside suspension.

1) The electronics have been reprogrammed with new Honda software. This is a Honda fix for the flat battery problem.
2) Fuel filler cap fix. It now snaps open very easy. There is no sign of foam or anything around the cap. This is a Honda fix.
3) Front NS suspension is faulty and they have ordered a new suspension to fit soon.
I am very happy with the level of service and attitude of the dealer.

Could you please precise the nature of the front suspension fault ? Has it been solved for the 2007 civic models ?

Front suspension

No idea about the 07 models.
Near side front suspension clunked on the downward travel when going over a bump or hole. I think this was a well known problem.

It is, I had the 'fix' and still have the problem (but they won't admit it).

I have the same suspension issue with the bump stop on NSF. After 2 attempts to re-attach it the dealer is now replacing parts, so hopefully will finally be fixed!
