Unhappy Wing Mirror Irritation

Has anyone a solution to my problem. I find that I am unable to get the nearside wing mirror in enough to allow me to just see the side of the car and to the rear, which is how I prefer it. I know the mirror is just clipped in but the dealer says no further adjustment possible. In order to see the side of the car I have 2 alternatives, 1) get longer legs and move the seat back or 2) keep swaying to the centre when I need to use the nearside mirror.
Thanks

I dont understand how you cant see the side of the car, surely you only need to see a small part of the car and mainly the road

Have you tried making the driver's seat higher/lower to see if it puts you in a better position for the side view?

Hi, was wondering do you have mirrors that fold in electically? Had a similar problem with mine when I purchased the car. Dealer said that I was unable to adjust the mirror any more and it was at its maximum tilt. In fact I later discovered it was the actual motor mechanism that was not returning the mirror to its correct alignment after unfolding. Near side mirror only. Had a new mirror unit fitted by the dealer.
