Electrics Dodgy Stereo controls

Just got a 1 yr old Civic EX from Holdcroft Honda Stoke on Trent and just found out the Audio controls don't work:

No mode, Vol or + - function on the steering wheel
Cannot change radio station scan or skip even if i try via voice activation!
Mp3 CD playback cannot change nothing just plays and doesnt let me skip select or even change the eq using the dial and head unit buttons.

I'm in Derby so i phoned up Lookers (my local dealers) and they are fully booked until the week commencing 3rd March..

Shame that, as I'm driving over to Pembrokshire national park this w/e.
and have no time to drive the car back to Holdcroft as I'm working.

Spent a good hour last night fiddling with the vast array of buttons just incase I'd disabled my stereo via some auto function... but to no avail...
