I remember once - when I had just passed my test and had my little 1.1 Saxo - I was working in a pub at the time and had my car outside up the road a bit. Some bunch of drunken kids had kicked the mirror off when walking past - you could see the mark on the door where the rubber had come off their shoe!

Top marks to fat roj...although he does look quite cute really...i'm sure if you were attempting to half-inch his wing mirror he would show you differently..but still nice dog!

At least its easy to spot a chav nowadays. They wear something with Henleys written on it.

Next time you're out on the town, just watch. The drunken idiots will undoubtebly be wearing these garments.

Another car 'clipped' my drivers side mirror today, £255 fitted like others not worth claiming on insurance as excess is higher than that, interestingly the other car drivers side window smashed when his mirror hit it, so I don't feel so bad about it.........

It's a catch 22 isn't it.
Do we leave the mirrors down, as the first line of defence against passing cars, or zoom them up, at the risk of a dented side panel.
My Dad, now 88, has had 4 mirrors nicked from his little Corsa.
I have always paid for the replacements, but its beyond a joke now.
Why a Corsa for goodness sake.

Someone was trying to break away the "CIVIC" inscription from the boot of my car. He didn't succeed and broke the last letter "C", so now it look like it was "CIVIL" :[. This happened in the middle of the day!!! What a perfidy!!!

I suggest you carefully remove what is left.
A hair dryer and some dental floss should do the trick.

(Who would steal a Civic badge... it is not like we are driving Lamborghinis here is it....!....)

Civic badges naturally peel off because of the curvature of the body panel, it was probably someone catching it on their coat in a car park, I caught mine a few times before it was replaced.

Or arm ourselves with these:

YouTube - AA12 Automatic Shotgun I really want one, it'll compliment my little arms cache of a peashooter and water bombs.

Honda dealers should add this as an element of standard equipment installed right next to fire extinguisher in the spare wheel compartment
