Hartside, I'm surprised you didn't call the police, but then again, would they be interested ?. I just don't like people getting away with this sort of thing. By the way, have you checked you still have the same engine

If I hadn't got satisfaction I would have, but to be honest at the time I was just pleased to get a new rim/tyre sorted out. I made a point after that of going round the car with the service clerk every time the car went in for something, noting the car was unblemished. I always checked it again when I picked it up. Letter also sent to dealer principal, who called and we had a long chat about it!
