All Civics Have Tailgate Blemish

Had to turn off auto lights, far too sensitive. One question for you all. When the guy parked it out the front of the showroom I noticed what looks like a a blemish. Looked at all of the other civics on the forecout and they're all the same. On the tailgate on the nearside just about where the Civic badge would be if it was put on that side. Looks like a crease about an inch long. Guy said he'd never seen it before and no-one else had ever mentioned it. Maybe it's because I work in Quality Assurance but it stood out a mile for me. Anyone else noticed it? Galaxy Grey must be one of the most misleading colour names I've come across, very nice colour though and not too many around my area. Darren Darren, you're dead right mate... I've noticed it on mine too, surprised it's not been mentioned on this forum before. I've also checked loads of other Civics and they are all the same. Also, if you look carefully on the offside, where the Civic badge is, it's the same. I think it's the fixing points where the outer shell is fixed or welded to the inner. Doesn't say much for the build quality does it? __________________ '07 2.2 ES Galaxy Grey |

http://www.civinfo.com/forum/bugs-fa...oot-panel.html On mine it is only noticeable if you look for it, depending on the lighting - I guess some are worse than others, and the colour will also have some bearing on how noticeable it is. |

I have just spent 6 minutes looking for it but the entire area is ultra flat. I have been over it in sun shine with my hand and there are no marks whatsoever. Colour is Royal Blue and MYr 2008.
