It may be the case that Hartside is right in his post on 8th May. I, for one, was more than prepared to read FMEA's detailed explanation although I may have sought some assistance on the technical matters. Pity, but there we are and I do not consider myself to be a naive sort of guy but it looks as though the cynics have been proved right. (Have they FMEA?) Time for another G & T!

I got all excited there for a moment, seeing that Doubting had replied last...

"Aha!" I thought. "A well reasoned response, no doubt in reply to FMEA's highly technical and detailed explanation! ".

hey ho

(Re-reading that it sounds as if I'm dissing your reply sir - of course that is not the case )

FMEA hasn't met a single deadline yet! I am saddened that this has dragged on for so long - no matter what the outcome is to be. It is unprofessional to say the least.

I think that would be a positive way forward. I get the feeling that keeping us on tender hooks is something this person likes.

This is certainly my last word on the farce. What amazes me is that anyone actually took this whole episode seriously and that they really thought the whole thing was genuine. Guys and Girls have you so little faith in Honda and our beautiful spaceships. I know some have had problems mainly the earlier cars, which is no uncommon occurance in the motor industry but the vast majority of us have fabulous Honda Civics which in my case has provided me with more pleasure than any car I have owned in the last 50 Years ( oh dear that long).

Exclamation

Dear Civinfo Members

Firstly many apologies for not posting the detailed explanation on Friday as I had promised. This was caused by nothing more sinister than a Friday full of unplanned meetings at work and then the demands of having a young family to keep entertained over the weekend.

In regards to letting myself and forum members down as was claimed over the weekend, when you get opportunity to read my explanation tomorrow morning I am sure you will realise how much time and effort has been put into in making sure that forum members are aware of the true facts in the face of Honda's (and various forum members, moderators and even the website owners) attempts to convince you that there is not a problem, when there most definitely and technically undeniably is.

I look forward to your comments after tomorrow morning.

Yada yada yada,I don't think anyone on here or Honda are trying to convince anyone that theres no problem, there moreso saying make your own mind up given the authenticity of the information and many broken deadlines and the underlying impression of a possible hidden agenda!

I for one will not be replying to this thread any further to stop fuelling it untill you,FEMA provide your promised information for me to make my own mind up!

I think he is going for a spin job with the labour party, all hype and no substance.

Sir,

I, the mods and others are simply comparing validity and reliability of information.

One one side, there is an anonymous individual, with an as yet unknown agenda.

On the other side, there is VOSA - an independent third party tasked with deciding whether a car is safe or not.

You have to admit (if remaining calm and intelligent) that most people are going to give substantial weight to what VOSA has to say, over and above the anonymous individual.
