The above is taken from my post on 22nd April. I think the ball is well and truly in FMEA's court.

Official Honda Release (2):

Quote:
Honda engineers and VOSA met yesterday at Honda's Swindon plant to investigate allegations of below standard Civic rear spindles.

The outcome of the investigation is that VOSA has stated there is convincing evidence that there is no problem whatsoever. Further, they stated that the issue had been handled correctly by Honda in accordance with industry guidelines and as far as VOSA is concerned, the matter is now closed.

Case is now closed, everything is back to normal.
Is this what we can call 'storm in a teacup'?

Come on guys, its FMEA not FEMA.
A FEMA is a bone in the leg very close to ones backside, which I get the impression that some people in this thread seem to suggest he's been talking out of.

As another poster commented, he hasnt been back since 23rd April and following this I doubt he will.

'convincing evidence of no problem whatsoever' sounds pretty conclusive to me.

I post an open letter to FMEA inviting him/her to comment on Honda's official release (2) as outlined by Pottsy above and to come clean on his/her true motives for posting his/her missive on 21st April.

Honda issued the " No problem what so ever/case closed" statement today to all dealers.

We didn't know anything about this until we were told it dosen't exist.

shall we put this waste of space thread (and FMEA for that matter) to sleep now? The only thing worth keeping this open is the possibility of another gem from FMEA, but I think he's in hiding now!
'was fun while it lasted, though

I'll leave it open, just in case FMEA wants to publish all the "evidence" - no doubt with a claim that VOSA have got it all wrong and/or are corrupt.

I think FMEA is probably too busy fixing all those faulty displays in the Focus to have time to come on here again.
