One more thing: during rain, I don't hear the squeaks. Do you think this might be due to water covering the space between the front window and the plastics parts containing the windshield wiper? If so, than I have to get me some felt. It's strange, cause I would swear that the noise was coming from the interior, as it also stopped when firmly pushing against part of the dash... Your opinion?
Water reduces the squeeks at mine too, but only when lots of rain. When drying up, the squeeking comes back. With snow/melting/freezing/melting etc. (that is common in this time of the year in Norway), the squeeking is tremendous...! Drove off to work today and thought the windscreen og dashboard would actually blow up... When i parked, I pushed at the plastic covers, and immideately heard the sound of crushing ice inside. It's got to be the covers making that sound.

I would pay a visit to the dealer ro have this sorted out.
I've done this once (rattle behind glove box) and if it was fixed.

Hi people! I heard about this forum and thought I would drop in because I'm experiencing the EXACT same frustrating noises described by Uffe and Richierich. I only bought my Type R GT last Saturday and thought perhaps it was something that would go away once the car has been run in properly however reading some of the stuff on here it wouldn't appear to be that way. I'm afraid I don't come here with a solution, I just wanted to join in and show my frustration!!

Hello guys... I have a 08 2.0 Si Coupe and I have the same problem. I am wondering if any of you guys have had a permanent fix yet from your Honda dealer?

I am afraid my Honda dealer will not be able to fix and that I have to do the DIY method...

Three months ago my dealer took all the plastic trim off the outside of the windscreen and refitted it. This has proved that this was the problem because so far it is still quiet.
