Squeaks Knocking at rear......possible solution

Having read all the posts about knocking from the rear, I wasn't surprised to discover that I had the same problem on my 12 day old Type S 2.2
Like many on here it was occasional.
First thing in the morning with a cold engine, over potholes and tellingly when switching off and that was the clue.
With the car warmed up after a drive and sat at idle, I discovered that the rear exhaust was making ever such a small rattle that vanished when I took hold of the end pipe (big glove!)
My problem is that the chassis hanging point (Rear offside) was about 3 mm from touching the back box hanging bracket.
Consequently whilst driving, any chassis movement was resulting in metal to metal contact and the evasive rear knocking.
It appears that the Honda rubber hanging link was the suspect and after sliding it off the car and subjecting it to a yank / pull / stretch, the problem has gone.
The fit and tolerance is tight up there so I presume if the rubber link moulding is a fraction too small then hey presto an occasional knocking occurs.
It solved my annoying niggle, hopefully it will solve some one else's.

The next annoying knock is from the front passenger seatbelt buckle tapping on the B pillar trim when retracted!
A small rectangle of high quality 2mm thick black rubber glued on the B pillar trim will solve that
