Fuel cap needs a stronger spring so it opens every time, lots of cars had issues where the fuel cap didnt open, door handle fix is for the pasenger door (i think) which can be very stiff to open. Probably another recall to replace the window rubber on the windscreen as it doesnt seal properly.. All fairly minor apart from the handbrake and only take an hour to fix.
If you go on the Honda website and put in your vin number it tells you if there is any outstanding warranty work on your car, but it doesnt say what it is!

I've just had to have all these done (still need to have the door handles one fixed, since they managed to cause the fault they were supposed to be fixing when I booked mine in)

The problems are:

1) Fuel lid - some people found the fuel lid wouldn't always open when using the lever under the dash. The recall is a mod to the fuel lid to stop this from happening.

2) Door handles - some found the driver's side door lock wouldn't always unlock from the inside. Mine did work fine until the recall was done, now it doesn't. D'oh!

3) Handbrake - some people found that the handbrake could release itself if engaged whilst pushing the release button. The recall replaces the handbrake handle with one that won't release itself.

4) Windscreen mouldings. The upper windscreen moulding rubber is too harsh and can corrode the paintwork. The recall replaces this rubber with a softer type. In some people's cases, such as mine, the roof also gets resprayed as a result.

Annoying, isn't it? Hope this all helps.

That all sounds pretty much it!

Out of curiosity... what if some of the things recalled are actually fine and in working order! As you have just suggested, they replaced it when it was fine and now it doesnt work...

It's the number plate.

In the UK you can tell roughly how old a car is by the 'registration number'.

You have them because you have a Civic and you have not heard of them because you have not spent enough time on here.

Fuel filler:
Fuel Filler Cap

Handbrake:
handbrake self release (inc recall letter)

Door handle:
Door Latch Recall

Windscreen:
Windscreen top strip

Meaning the one at the bottom of the windscreen? Then what and where is the VIN?

No.

The number plate (registration) in the UK has a date code.
Using this you can see when the car was registered.

The VIN is from the manufacturer, this is at the bottom of the windscreen as you say.

Same here, I never had any problems with the fuel filler or the drivers door.

Handbrake is on my waiting list and I don't think the windscreen rubber affected all. I heard that it only affected those with the sunroof?

The rubber strip round the windscreen is not just glass roof cars, I had to had mine reglued with in 4 hours of getting my 7 month old ex Honda car!!!!

I just found out my 4th recall is not the windscreen rubber but a VIN Check whatever that is... I know where the VIN Plate is, seems fine where it is... hah!

So all in a day they are going to do the 2nd service, then fix all recalls. (handbreak, door handle and fuel lid and the VIN check)!
£11 for a courteousy car added on...

i need a drink!

Hmmm

They certainly didn't replace mine at the last service in March and I can see no problems with it.

I've not got a recall on the door handle (and my car has just been serviced). I've had the handbrake done, window seal, esp, rear shocks and filler cap done but no mention of the door handle (which is fine).

The Mystery One you mentioned is probably the EPS unit. (Electrical Power Steering).

My car an 06, Jan registration had to have it replaced under recall. (now getting the handbrake done too....) At least Honda act as if they do care.
