Angry Drivers Door Window Trim

Has anybody else out there had a problem with the rubber trim that is fixed to the door pillar and seals against the window? I have had 9 attempts at various replacements including fitting a new door! All have failed to stop the trim from pulling out along the full length of the pillar within a few months of operating the window. This looks very unsightly not to mention causing possible problems with water and wind ingress. I had been offered a replacement type s from honda UK but after viewing this at the dealership I was amazed to discover this 07 plate had the same problem. On investigating further a type r 08 plate demonstrator also had a faulty rubber trim! I was under the impression that my car was the only one but I advise all readers to check the drivers door window trim on their 3 door models!

No its the exterior rubber that seals between the glass and pillar. I will add a photo later to show the problem.
