Paint on plastic

Is painting over chips in the plastic body parts of the Civic reasonable? or can anyone see any long term issues?

Shouldn't be any different from touching up the stone chips on the bumpers.

just wondered as the job done on mine leaves the painted part with a matt finsh, but the panel is shiney

Dealership, -- There you go then phil.
Get yourself down to Halfords and buy a 3 paint pen kit, or you can buy the clear coat separately.
When I had a moan at them, for not doing Alabaster Silver, they offered to mix it up for me, if I took in the Honda touch up, complete with its box.

Halfords paint pens are far better in MO. :-- £14.99p for primer, colour coat, clear coat and a couple of gizmo's to help you on the way.
