Windows Rear window

Now the weather has turned wetter and colder I have noticed the bottom half of the rear screen stays very wet in the rain and does not clear of condensation which is especially irritating when its dark and I am reversing. I have parking sensors but i would feel much happier if I could see properly - has anybody else noticed this? I thought the bottom half was supposed to be treated to stop moisture sticking to it!!

It may be, but if it is not clean, the water could be sticking to the dust/dirt/grime on there. The same happens with rain-x. It works fine until the rear window gets dirty, then the water just sticks to the dirt!

I have noticed an amount of water sitting there, but have not found it to be a problem, to be honest.

Yes, it certainly happens to me as well. It's not a problem reversing, as I've got the camera fitted, but it does make half the limited rear view inadequate when driving in wet weather.

Rain-X doesn't help.
