Don't change the suspension!

I am happy with the ride and handling as it is, I don't need independant rear suspension taking up valuble boot space....

I like the way I can get all of my stuff, my missus stuff and my daughters into the boot whithout using a roof-box when going on hols

When do we realy get chance to tear up the roads now anyway? may as well coast along and let folks admire your ride!

Surely someone has compiled a lis of all these "wishes". I was wondering, how does the dash get scratched? I have never had anything bang against it and they are in places that even the dealer would have to do it purposely!

Improvements

Just did a quick photoshop with the grill of the new euro accord on the front of a Type S. Still prefer the original.

Clean up the messy back.

Buy-in Porsche's DSG.

Revise the suspension.

Upgrade the audio.

1) no problem with the back, makes it quite distinctive in the market and isnt much of a hindrance with regards to view (IMHO)

2) any DSG box be it Porsche or VW/Audi would cost an absolute fortune, i'd love to see it but that just aint gonna happen.

3) never had a problem with the ride.

4) never been anything other than a radio listener in mine so once again its not been an issue to me.

A 'proper' ipod/usb link like that in the new Accord

HID's at least as an option across the range

White

Leather or at least a cloth/leather option in the higher spec cars

DAB stereo

To each his own, obviously, and a distinctive rear is never going to please everybody, due to its very distinctiveness.

In many ways the same applies to the suspension. One man's bone shaker...

However, VW/Audi managed to afford the Porsche-designed DSG and keep the Golf competitive. I'd be surprised if Honda couldn't.

There's probably some pride involved, which might be why Honda bought in the inferior Japanese box!

To be fair, Porsche own 30% of VW and VW are starting to build cars that are more than they are selling them for. Take for instance the new Scirocco thats going to cost more to build than the price it will be sold for.

The Bugatti Veyron cost just over 5 million to build but retails at £875,000.00.

Thats a cracking idea if you wish to lose money, however thats not the aim of the game

You're right. It is nuts, of course.

But the DSG is only a tiny part of the Golf problem.

The entire manufacturing process is at fault and is to be reorganised. A massive task.

Honda have bought-in components from many foreign manufacturers. I just think they go further and pay Porsche for the rights to manufacture or install the DSG.

If not?

Start working on a twin clutch system of their own.

I think the main thing they will do is get rid if the rear spoiler. And add a bidet (rear wash wipe)
