Middle rear seatbelt as an option on the S & R!

slightly better design on the door pockets - getting a travel coffe mug thing in and out is quiet awkward

another vote for the ability to have the radio on without the key, and for deletion of the beeper for 'key in / door open' - listening to the radio in the sun whilst parked up is a pain

'bulb blown' warnings

window / mirror power for few mins after key removal

thw whole 'delay for auto lights coming on' discussion to stop flashing people under bridges (oh err!)

white sidelight bulbs, not rubbishy yellow ones

  • Auto-dim mirrors
  • Auto gearbox for diesel
  • Mirrors to fold after ignition is switched off
  • Tyre pressure sensors
  • Spare wheel as standard
  • Improved radio aerial
  • Satnav software on a separate CD/DVD from maps - so that software bugs can be fixed without paying for a new map DVD
  • Increased up/down steering wheel adjustment - so that I can see high beam light/cruise control indicators
  • Non-selfdestruct foglights.
And most of all, proper quality control

I've amended the list and sent it off.

We'll do a survey shortly, so please watch this space!

Any new ideas please post here, so I can include them in the survey. The list as it stands is as follows:

Some of those figures look low ?

I would have thought for example that the stronger foglights issue should reflect the number of broken foglights in the appropriate thread + the number of requests ?

The table and figures are just my notes. The numbers are just the number of times mentioned in this thread, and are meant to be a very rough indication only.

My plan is to make a new survey. Each item in that list will be a question (thought the wording will be nicer) and the possible responses will be something like:
  • Not as good as standard.
  • A small improvement on std, but I'm not paying any more for it.
  • A very significant improvement on std, but I'm not paying any more for it.
  • So good, I'd accept a small increase in cost.
  • I'd pay good money for this.
  • Don't care, this doesn't affect me.

Agreed, a full on poll would get much bigger results.

I'd like the option to pause cd's, especially when i get a call on the HFT... it just tears on through the tracks

One of the reasons that swayed me to buy the car was the excellent position of the speedo. Right in your eyeline just where you need it especially in these days of an overkill of speed cameras everywhere. I agree unvote the speedo.
