Windscreen Squeaking windscreen

My windscreen sqeeks(N) anyone else with this problem? Its so irratating:@

I think a few have - something to do with incorrect clips used during manufacture:

Creak above windscreen ** FIXED ** by dealer

The Dealer had my car last week to fix some niggles. They were not successful with the winscreen rattle, and had it in again yesterday, to remove the headlining. This also was unsuccessful, so they have kept the car, and will try something else on Monday. ( grenade--- anyone

) and they will contact me Monday sometime, with any news. I'll keep you posted.

I had this problem.The car went in to the dealer for 3 hours to have the clips changed that hold the plastic trim in position around the wind screen.They seem to know about the problem as soon as i mentioned it.No problems as of yet.

If I remember correctly the clip problem is only on cars with a glass roof.
Danko does not have this.

Are you sure it is coming from the windshield?

I think my car has the same problem as yours. Sounds very similar.

Stef. I'm pretty certain thats where the problem is. I think the Dealer does too.

Aparantly in the UK the EX version has no glass roof, in Belgium is does.

That is why I tought only glass roof Civic has the "forgot to cut the clip" problem.

My EX (glass-roof) goes in to the dealers tomorrow for a day or two to have my list of faults looked at...
